Who Are The Kings?
The String Kings are a North DFW Based acoustic instrument band that play a variety of tunes
mostly from the 60s, 70, and 80s, but include several tunes from the 90s to current. Nothing is
off limits for this group it seems and whatever they play, they make it a fun affair for their
listening audience. You will hear songs by Simon and Garfunkel, Seals and Crofts, Poco,
The Eagles, and many more artist from that generation as well as many tunes from varying
artists and genres. If you love the sound of acoustic instrumentation and three-part harmony,
you’ll love The String Kings. The band members are Mike Barnhardt, Ben Goodloe, Jeff
Jones, and Al Gleason.
The String Kings are available for booking and are a great fit for private parties, restaurant/bar
locations, or festivals.
